All seems normal at first glance, we see a couple seated on some stone steps next to their wagon. Upon closer inspection, we discover that the man’s shoes appear to be scraped away. Someone has attempted to “erase” the footwear from the image, which would have shown he is of Sami origin.This found family photo from the beginning of the 20th century is from Beiarn, Norway, a Pitesami area.
